Christmas postcards of kindness
Those of you who have been with us for a few years will know that our usual practice, instead of sending Christmas cards to our customers, is to make a donation to a chosen charity.
This year we have decided that we will be sending 500 personalised Christmas cards to residents of homes who have signed up to ‘Postcards of Kindness’.
Postcards of Kindness is an initiative that asks people to write and send postcards to residents of care homes. And while it’s a small gesture, the resulting deliveries bring a great deal of joy and spark lively conversations among the older people who receive them.
It’s been a tough year for those in residential homes up and down the UK. With limited contact with their friends and families, we think these cards are more important than ever.
