Pets As Therapy & Blyssful
We are delighted to announce that we are, again, joining forces with the wonderful organisation, Pets As Therapy.
Pets As Therapy (PAT) is a national charity that enhances the health and wellbeing of thousands of people in communities across the UK. They strive to ensure that everyone, no matter their circumstances, has access to the companionship of an animal.
The volunteers, and their temperament-assessed pets, visit establishments such as care homes, hospitals, hospices, schools, and prisons, and bring smiles to many faces. People of all ages get the chance to chat to someone — and stroke and cuddle a friendly dog or cat.
We will be showing how you can effortlessly document activities, such as a PAT session, through our newly launched Blyssful system, and demonstrating how you can use photos in Blyssful, to help evidence the goals and targets for a service user’s needs.
If you would like to meet some of their furry friends and hear about the work they do, and how this works hand in hand with Blyssful by Ablyss, they will be joining us for a speaker session on 23rd March.
One or two of their furry volunteers will also be helping us on our stand for the day, so do stop by to say hello!
